In memory of David Evans

It is with great sadness we share that David Evans passed away peacefully on Monday 22nd September after a sudden stroke.

David founded the OTL Group of Companies more than 40 years ago. Building this business was his life’s work and even after stepping back from day-to-day management, his boundless enthusiasm, inventive spirit and passion for our work never left him. He was always excited about what we could create next. 

David was a dearly loved husband to Gill, much-loved father to Hugh, Sarah and Hannah, loving father-in-law to Sarah and Francisco, and cherished Grandad/GoGo to Agnes, Leonardo and Esme.

In person funeral arrangements

The funeral will be held at Baldarroch Crematorium, Crathes near Banchory (directions) on Thursday 2nd October at 2.30pm, with after event Funeral Tea at the Falls of Feugh Restaurant.  The family would love to welcome everyone who knew him. There is no dress code.

If you are unable to attend, there will be a live stream of the service which can be watched via this link. The link will remain active for 7 days after the funeral.

In lieu of flowers, David's family would like to honour his memory by supporting Chest, Heart & Stroke Scotland. This charity is especially close to the family, as Gill volunteers with them and has seen first-hand the difference their work makes.
