As a regular buyer or user of Oil Technics’ bestselling multi-purpose internationally approved (OCNS Gold Standard) offshore rigwash and oil degreasers, we thought you’d like to know that, as of 6th October, Sobo S Gold 08 will be known as Sobo S Gold 40 and Sobo QB Gold 08 will become Sobo QB Gold 40.

Sobo S Gold 40 and Sobo QB Gold 40 contain blends of biodegradable surfactants and wetting agents and are both registered for use in offshore installations. We’ve simply upgraded one of our raw materials to make them even more effective when it comes to tough offshore cleaning.

We’ve renamed these products for two reasons:

Firstly, CEFAS - who help administer the Offshore Chemical Notification Scheme (OCNS) – consider this to be a new product, so we need to give it a new name. Secondly, we’ve just celebrated our 40^th year in business, so we thought we’d commemorate this by renaming the product Sobo S Gold 40 and Sobo QB Gold 40.
