Where to use

Designed to remove contamination including degraded dirt, dust, solar heat transfer fluids, sludge, algae and bird droppings from solar panels, SolarClean cleans delicate surfaces without leaving any residues.

How to use

• Apply via soft brush or sponge.
• Can be use in either cold or hot water.
• Dilution for general cleaning: 5% (1 part Solar Clean to 19 parts water).
• For stubborn soiling, can be applied neat.
• Rinse well with clean water after use.

Hints & tips

• Always turn off your solar panels before cleaning. If unsure, always check your manufacturer’s instructions to ensure they are fully off.
• Do not use pressure washers as high pressure may cause fine cracks on your panels.
• Avoid cleaning on a hot day to reduce the chance of solutions evaporating too quickly to be fully effective.
• For best results, use deionised/distilled water or water softener to reduce the chance of streaking, chalking or spotting.
• Only clean your solar panels if easy to access and safe to do so.
